Dr. Kim received her Ph.D in Cell Biology, Anatomy and Neuroscience from University of Cincinnati.  After the completion of her Ph.D, she moved to Boston and did her post-doctoral training at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute/Harvard Medical School.  Dr. Kim joined Rutgers-Newark Biology faculty in 2004.  In addition to her research, she teaches Cell Biology (undergraduate) and Advanced Cell Biology: Signal Transduction (graduate).
